NOVEMBER
A screening of the author documentaries made as part of the European Authors' Festival will take place on 5th November at Summerhall. The first London premire of "Lost at Sea" will take place on 12th November as part of The Finborough's Vibrant Fesival 2015 (direced by the wonderful Liz Carruthers).
AUGUST - OCTOBER
Morna is currently working on two new play - "Remember the Future" and "In Plain Sight". She continues work with Out of the Dakness Theatre Company and will be directing "My Aberdeen" scratch night for The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen on 8th October. Come support new writng in the north!
JULY
Morna was delighted to return to Dumfres to work with Japanese students at Kilquhanity School for the third year running.
MAY / JUNE
Morna will return north to work with
Out of the Darkness Theatre Company
on their new project 'My Rural, My Space' where she will work with communities in Moray to gather local stories. She will also continue work on her Artist Bursary Award exploring multi-disciplinary artistry.
APRIL
Group R&D begins for Morna's Artist Bursary Award (supported by Creative Scotland) to explore multi-disciplinary artistry. Morna is delivering the workshop "In Your Own Words" with Catriona Lexy Campbell as part of
TalkFest at the Tron
on 25th April (
Playwright's Studio, Scotland
). She has also written a guest "year in the life of...' blog for the PSS which can be read
here.
MARCH
Morna is on a residency at CAMAC Arts Centre (France) kindly supported by the the Tenot Foundation and Tom McGrath Trust. She is working on a new play about future memory.
FEBRUARY
Rehearsals begin for Morna's new play "Netting" which features in the new Play, Pie and a Pint season. Netting will show at Oran Mor, Glasgow 16-21 February and at The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen 24-28 February. The fantastic Allie Butler (

JANUARY
Morna was delighted to begin research and development for "Heroines" (a project exploring strong female characters) with AJ Taudevin, Belle Jones and Catrin Evans. This week was kindly supported by the Peggy Ramsay Foundation and The Tron.
