OCTOBER
Morna's new play
Never Land
(an Eden Court production) opens at The Beacon Arts Centre on 20th October. Both Never Land and Sunset Song perform at Eden Cout on 27th October.
SEPTEMBER
Sunset Song
continues it's Scottish tour including Perth Concert Hall, Beacon Art's Centre, MacRobert Stirling, Kings Edinburgh and Kings Glasgow. The tour will run until mid-November.
AUGUST
As part of the New Playwright's Award, Morna will attend a residency at
Cove Park
. She also joined the cast of Sell a Door / The Beacon's production of
Sunset Song
as composer, musical director and performer.
JULY
Morna travels to Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland this month to read extracts of LOST AT SEA at the
European Authors' Festival.
JUNE
Morna joined
Imaginate
on their Wild Journey residency to Mull for a weekend adventure with ten other artists.
Morna wrote and presented two five minute theatre pieces called "Where did we come from?" (produced by Eden Court) as part of the NTS's
Great Yes, No, Don't Know
debate.
APRIL
Morna travelled to Southend this month to record the Fishwives debut album "Ocean Bound".
MARCH
Morna is delighted to be taking part in
Rough Mix
at Summerhall.
Morna will be reading an extract of "Lost at Sea" at the
CPG on Culture
at the Scottish Parliament on 18th March. She will also be taking part in the panel discussion: “Intrinsic right or expendable luxury: the challenges and opportunities in securing cultural funding”.
